Driving to work this morning, I switched on 2m, listening to GB3WH near Swindon and was surprised to find the repeater occupied by stations in Yorkshire! M0IOK, 2E0EYC and M3ODQ/M were all good signals from the Humberside area.
The Buxton repeater, GB3HH was clearly audible from Didcot station car park.
I called CQ on 145.500 driving down the A34, without success!
